Warren Moon is one of the best quarterbacks in football. He achieved being ranked 5th out of all quarterbacks all-time, which did not include his time/yardage in the CFL. Warren Moon is always an Oiler, Randall will always be an Eagle, Cris Carter was an Eagle but he lived his carreer as a Viking and just like Anthony Carter he will always be a Viking to me. I don't care where he goes, he's a Packer. Warren Moon is an interesting case, because he was so successful in the CFL and the NFL. Ian seriously considered him for the Top 10.

Warren Moon is definitely a legend and Warren Moon was pretty old when he stopped playing, Warren Moon definitely loved playing the game because of how old he stayed, Warren Moon will be remembered. Warren Moon is a few months younger than I am, and although I wasn't living in Seattle then, I remember his UW team and his principled stand that he was a quarterback and nothing else. I also remember his Grey Cup games and how, by the time his CFL days were over, he was a much sought-after commodity by the NFL. Warren Moon is often referred to as being the first African-American quarterback to be inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame, and while that is true, his accomplishments are truly legendary regardless of his color. He also holds the distinction of being the only player ever enshrined in both the Pro Football and Canadian Football Halls of Fame.

Warren Moon is leading the league with a 91% completion percentage! After eight freakin' games!!! Warren Moon is a prime example of this from his Eskies days. He personified the team's magic during those championship years. Warren Moon is a tougher call but, to me, is also an obvious choice. His NFL statistics are superb, although he never led a team to a Super Bowl.

And, although quarterbacks touch the ball on every offensive play, they are usually only a factor on HALF of them. Football for me has been a journey. It was a journey that started some 44 years ago.

Football is a team game, folks. As the 49ers talent level declined, down also went their Super Bowl chances yearly, but Young remained a superb passer, runner, and leader.

Quarterbacks who cannot run, do not run. Given the skill level, athleticism and fury of defenders, running is not the worst idea. Quarterback Shaun King threw an ill-advised screen to Warrick Dunn, who was surrounded in the end zone. It looked like a sure safety, but Dunn spun out of a tackle and managed to get back onto the field. Quarterbacks don't really grow on trees. If you bring in Craig Nall, you take reps away from both of the backups.
