girdling the rose.
Prune in early Spring, when canes first begin to grow. Prune away all dead, broker, or diseased canes. If the canes are not white or green
inside, cut lower.
Deadheading your rosebushes is the best way to ensure a continuous stream of new blooms. The term "deadhead" means removing withering or dying
roses from the bush, which will in turn force the plant to create a new flower. Deadheading the spent bloom(s) too, will encourage more bloom.
