San Fernando is in the North-Eastern part of El Salvador in the department of Moraz?(near the border of Honduras) and a lot of the war happened right where I was staying in San Fernando. San Fernando is known in the community for its tough sentencing and bench officers. It is certainly not a place where it is advisable to represent oneself with a criminal charge.
