Comical happenings occur very frequently in this movie. Even the mysterious medallion doesn't do him any serious harm. At the end of the movie he burns up when his pot of gold gets the flamethrower treatment. Even the commercials for them suggests swordfighting. Leprechauns don't like swordfighting because its a violent process that usually results in mass pain.

Every scene had either a page wipe, where it peels from the corner to another page, or a clock swipe, seriously, a clock swipe! This is the best part; the clock swipes were used to show the passage of like 30 seconds in time, like it would have hurt to actually act out those 30 seconds. Even the Marines - who had previously spoken to Leprechauns and cyborgs - are shocked that this particular development. It's later explained that on her planet, showing off tits is a death sentence. Even the few scenes that follow those conventions are total letdowns. Thanks to some sort of spell, the woman he picks has to sneeze a couple of times and then she is his forever. This one's kinda fun because we get a little background info on the Lep, and we even see his Leprechaun lair which is hilarious. Thanks to this film I'm now a b-movie fan.
