how to rebuild auto ac compressor

remove,removal

Remove the three tapping screws, the two 10-mm bolts, and the five clips with screws from the plastic splash shield in front of the wheel well. The clips with screws are removed by uncsrewing the screw part a little then pulling the whole clip out. Remove the snap ring. Remove it and, again, set it aside for reuse if possible. Pull the coil off.

ac compressor is

AC compressor is connected to ICE engine, I see an immedate 2 mpg drop when in use and seldom is the ICE not running when AC on even when in economy mode, never in non-economy. AC compressor is dead, but other than that no problems. Interior shows slight wear but not in bad condition.

replaced,replacement,replace

Replacement and or rebuilt parts are rarely perfect. You will probably get different readings at various locations around the circumference of the clutch. Replace the o-rings on the two refrigerant lines with new lightly oiled o-rings (both are 3/8" MB946604). Slide the new receiver drier into its bracket and attach the two refrigerant lines. Replacing the mounts was easier than I thought. I would compare it to replacing mufflers.

Replace the micro-filters and the lids. Replacing the clutch might be able to be done in the vehicle if the steering rack and sway bar is removed, but if you're paying to have it done, just replace the compressor. I also recommend not going with a rebuilt unit. Replace all seals with new ones for safe measure. Try not to blow moist compresser air through the lines.

removed,remove

Remove those two bolts, be careful on the last one, cause the whole thing will drop somewhat. Remove the screw and attach the hose to that close by open vacumn switch and I'll bet your problems are solved.

check

Check the air flow through the radiator stack and see if the fan clutch is letting the fan move air at idle. Take a big box fan and place in front of truck while idling and see if that keeps the compressor running. Check if relay plug at terminal 1 has voltage. You can find out which is terminal 1 by looking at the bottom end of your relay and finding a corresponding receptor on the plug.

starting

Start browsing our hassle-free online catalog to find the bumper that will perfectly suit to your taste and preference and give you a sense of safety all at the same time. The company?s selection of bumpers is sourced from the trusted aftermarket parts makers in the industry today. Starting in the late 1990’s, the Toyota AC Compressor began using dessicant elements instead. These dessicant elements are much easier to replace.

normal

Normally it won't be allowed to go below 1 bar. Of course if the ICE is unable to start, such as running out of gas or some other engine trouble, there's nothing to charge the battery, so eventually it will go to no bars and the car will power off to prevent an undercharge. Normally vehicles are equiped with AC these days but it is possible to retro-fit an older vehicle with an entire AC Assembly by purchasing all of the parts that make up this. Since even older cars have a basic vent system it is just a matter of getting the Compressor hooked up to a pulley and providing basic humidity control.
