M's ability to attract top students, to recruit and retain world-class faculty, and to improve its teaching, research and outreach activities.
Endowed funds are gifts large enough to generate yearly interest income. The principal remains intact through investment and only the interest is
used.
Michigan Tech sustains high-quality educational programs because of the generosity of
friends and alumni. State support for higher education has declined significantly in recent years. Michigan?s public higher education
institutions have experienced continued declines in state funding. Private support is critical as the university moves forward, continuing to

journals are encouraged.

Materials are accepted in the name of the FSU Foundation. We do reserve the right to use the materials as they can best be utilized: they may
be added to the collections, offered to other libraries, or sold in the Friends of the Library book sales, with the proceeds benefiting the
libraries. Materials that cannot be used are donated to other libraries, sold on sales lists, placed on the sales shelf in the library, or
recycled.

Donors are urged to take advantage of matching gift programs when possible. Check with the personnel or community relation??s office in your
company for details. Donors contributing $1,000 or more annually are included in Clarion's prestigious 1867 Circle . Donors and their tax
advisors assign a value to the donated property for tax purposes.
Donors do not participate in the final selection process. However, the College and its units encourage donors to meet with scholarship
recipients through regular awards luncheons and other planned activities. Donors of deferred and testamentary gifts are eligible for membership
in the College of Law's Legacy Society. Donor must be come to library in person or authorize others to get back the gifts within 60 days (Start
from the postmark date) after received the "Thank you letter"(Please bring along with the "Thank you letter"). If Library does not receive any
reply or the reclaiming period is expired, Library reserves the right to determine the disposition of the gifts.
